Useful Web Pages and Sites

This is a collection of web pages and sites that any pilot can use in EVE Online to better understand the EVE Universe. From how much gas is worth per hour of mining to what defenses are good against what NPC enemy, there is something for everyone here. If you have a site you think would be good to add, please let us know so we can place it here for all to use.

EVE University Wiki - An all around comprehensive guide to EVE Online. If you have a question you can probably find the answer here. Navigating the pages can be a little rough, though, so we have added a few important pages below to make it easier to find and reference.

Wormhole Attributes - Since we are a wormhole corporation, learning the "ins and outs" of the wormholes that appear is of paramount importance. While it makes very boring reading, to truly become a master of wormhole space, most of this information is vital to finding out where you are and where you are going.

Wormhole sites - This site is a consolidation of all the combat and sites you will find in any given wormhole.  So before you jump into that unsecured site, you may want to look here to see what your are facing and if it is really worth it. There is also a list of gas, relic, data and mining sites you may encounter depending in the wormhole you are in. This is an invaluable resource for anyone living or exploring wormhole space.

Combat Sites - An expansive detailed resource that outlines every combat site in high, low or null space. From the details of the enemies you will be facing to the escalation that may spawn, this is the tool to use to find the best combat site to fit your needs. You should never go into any combat site without knowing what you are facing again.

NPC Damage Types - So those pirates seem to eat through your shields like crazy yet your kinetic missiles don't leave a scratch on their ships? There may be a reason for that. This site can help you determine what resistance and weapon damage type will work well against which NPC you have chosen to fight today. Used in conjunction with the website above you should be able to pick the best defenses and weapon types to make your NPC battles a little easier. As they say, don't take a knife to a gun fight.

EVE Market - So you want to know what the prices of the ore you just mined is in Jita but you are stuck in a wormhole 50 jumps away? No problem. EVE Market has you covered. Just type in what you have to sell and EVE Market will tell you the prices from everywhere in EVE. An invaluable tool for miners, industrialist, and anyone who has anything they want to sell or buy. In other words, pretty much everyone in the EVE Universe.

DOTLAN Maps - So where am I? Where is the nearest low sec corridor? Is there Ice nearby to mine? OMG, I am lost! Don't worry, DOTLAN maps have you covered. Not only can it tell you where you are but how many times pilots have been killed there, what type of planets are available and is there any good restaurants nearby. (OK, that last one is a lie.) While EVE has a built in map system, it can be difficult to manage and navigate. DOTLAN provides you with an alternative that gives you information in a neat and tidy setup. Check it out.

Wormhole Gas Sites - This is a gas miners dream site. This spreadsheet has all the gas you can find in wormhole space, the enemies you will encounter and the value of each cloud. And by typing in a few stats you can even get how long it will take you to mine a cloud and the ISK you make per minute. So don't waste your  time mining worthless gas when you can fill up your hold with liquid gold.

zKillboard - Want to know how many kills you have? Who killed you and with what? How dangerous is a corp or pilot? zKillboard has your answer. Type in a name, corp or even system and zKillboard will give you a rundown of losses and wins. With a little research you may even find out what is a pilots favorite fit for a ship by rummaging through their losses. It's not just for gloating, it can be a useful tool to see what ships work, and what ships burn.

Planetary Interaction - Simple, easy-to-use, graphic flow sheet that tells you what makes what and how much it is worth. This is a tool for those who already know the basics of planetary Interaction and want to make sure they are getting the most out of it they can. Even gives you the current buy prices for Jita so you can decide to make what based on prices as well as needs.

Bulk Appraisal - So you have a container of junk and you want to know if it is worth hauling to Jita to sell? Well, here is an easy solution. ctrl+c all the items and paste them here for a quick and easy price check. Who knows, you may have a hidden gem in all of those clothing items you picked up along the way.

Rolling WH Chart - Rolling WH's is an essential part of wormhole security. Without it, we would be stuck with our holes sticking out, literally. But not sure how, or if it is even safe to do? This handy dandy chart is a great way to know of you are getting the job done or getting ready to find yourself on the wrong side of a closing hole. (And we all know how painful that can be.) While it does not provide ship info or the basic concept behind rolling holes, it does provide the math needed to do it correctly. An invaluable tool once you become familiar with rolling holes and want to have a hand in wormhole security.
